Matchroom Sport and the EPBF have now reached an agreement in respect of Matchroom events and in particular the World Pool Championships. All British players who compete in any of Matchroom Sport's events, including the World Pool Championships, must be a member of the BPPPA. European ChampionshipsThe European Championships is one of the most prestigious tournaments on the pool calendar. This annual event covers the disciplines of 9 ball, 8 ball and 14:1 continuous (straight pool). As well as having both individual and team events it also covers the same disciplines for ladies and wheelchair players.

For any British player entry into the European Championships can only be obtained through the BPPPA.
The BPPPA (like every other member state of the European Pocket Billiard Federation) are asked to make a request (wish list) for the number of competitors we would like to enter and the Board of the EPBF then decide how many spots are available for each participating country. Depending on how many spots are awarded to us, the allocation will be as follows:
