Manchester Open - to be rescheduled
The BPPPA is a non-profit organisation, limited by guarantee, dedicated to the development of the American cue sports disciplines in Great Britain. As well as promoting a range of pool disciplines, we aim to support a wider player base through our Ladies, Youth and Disabled policies. Disciplines include: 9 Ball, 8 Ball and 14:1 Continuous (Straight pool)
To these ends, we are working closely with the European Pocket Billiard Federation and the World Pool Association. The BPPPA is a member of the EBPF, governing the sport of pool in the EPBF member state of Great Britain.
British Players
British participants at the annual European Championships must be members of the Association and this includes the separate divisions of Men, Ladies, Youth (pupils {under 16}and juniors {under 18}), Seniors and Wheelchair users. Under an agreement between the WPA (through the EPBF) and Matchroom Sport, all British participants in the World Pool Championships and other Matchroom Sport events must be members of the Association. Any British participants who qualify to play in the World Games must also be a member of the Association.
